Missouri Winter - Handmade in the Heartland

Missouri Winter

I am currently taking a photography class at UMKC. We have this awesome camera and i have no idea how to use it other than on auto- thankfully i have a husband who is awesome at photo taking but i thought it would be nice for me to have a little skill also. For our homework this week we needed to just get out and start testing different shutter speeds and aperture settings. So today i was grateful to have my awesome husband drive around Liberty/Smithville/PlatteCity and help me scope out area to shoot, and give me pointers on what settings to use. it was a nice little afternoon activity, and this is what we ended up with. I am glad the sun finally came out and the sky turned blue because when we first went out there was hardly any contrast to any of the photos.
