Summer Fun - Handmade in the Heartland

Summer Fun

This week we are in Nashville visiting my family and enjoying some summer fun.  It's a 9 hour drive so we break it up by staying with my grandparents who live about half way.  My great grandmother is still living (she's 100!) and so we got to see the lovely Ruby.  Can you believe she and June were born 99 years apart?! Crazy right.  I could have never made the drive without my lovely friend Ali who came with us and was a total lifesaver.  Here are some fun photos thus far.

Some good ole sprinkler fun :)

This is my cute sister Hollyanne.  Her birthday is on Christmas Day so i decided last year that i would start celebrating her birthday on June 25th with her.  Last year we went to dinner and a movie this year we took her best friend Meghan and my friend Ali and went shopping then to dinner, walked around downtown which entailed being serenaded by an aspiring country singer and ended the night at Jeni's Splendid ice cream.  It was a fun night for this cute 13 1/2 year old :)

I spent an evening out with my brother eating at the Pharmacy and another trip to Jeni's :)

Here are some fun shots i snapped of Junebug
