June bug is almost 2! I can hardly believe it and yet I've been thinking of her as "2" for months now. She def has the tantrum down pat, and she's a little tall for her age. She follows her brother around and mimics him which is cute and sometimes not so cute, especially when her brother is a not so perfectly behaved 3 year old. :) One thing I love about having a girl is dressing her up, I mean how fun is it to buy teeny girl clothes?! I was super excited when I received an email from persnickety clothing asking to dress little June bug in one of their dresses and show it off to you. They sent me the Ellie dress and its adorable. Stinkin' adorable.
Persnickety clothing is a really unique company that started by selling dresses at farmers markets and fairs in Utah, many of you know thats how I started with my bags several years ago so I can totally relate! After a trip to Nicaragua they moved their production and are creating a dramatic difference in the lives of the people in the poorest country in central america.
"Our main goal is not to help just put food on their table but to help them break the cycle of poverty and in doing so impact future generations. We accomplish this by compensating them very well. We have been told that people who sew for us are making as much or more than the average college graduate in Nicaragua. This allows them to start saving and focusing on more than just the basic needs of life."
Their clothing is just darling. Beautiful ruffles and pretty prints that are well made and look adorable on teeny girls. I'm also a big fan of THIS, THIS, and THIS.
The handmade accessories are beautiful too, the goldilocks headband they sent was so cute and since my little bug won't keep anything on her head it looked too perfect as a belt to not tie it around her waist!
Persnickety clothing is a wonderful brand that values philanthropy, quality, magical memories and delightful childhoods. Check out the site now because they are having a 50% off sale with the lowest prices of the year! Awesome!
