Can you believe this kid is 3 and a half? Time goes so much faster when you are a parent than when you are a kid, am I right?! On September 4th he will head to his first day of school ever, a preschool two days a week. I am kind of beyond excited to have some time with only one kid. I just keep thinking about how much work I can get done! However part of me is nervous about him and how he will adjust, he does great at the childcare at the gym but he knows that I'm in the building. Lately he seems to all of the sudden be more whiney and a little bit more clingy- I thought we had moved past that?! All I know is that kids keep you on your toes and are totally unpredictable most of the time. For preschool he will come home to eat lunch but we will send snacks, I love individually packaged snacks that are easy for the teacher to distribute and I love snacks that are not full of sugar! Del Monte Fruit Burst Squeezers are perfect for snacks at preschool or to pack in your kids school lunch, they have fruits and vegetables!
I purchased the Del Monte Fruit Burst Squeezers at my Walmart Super Store. There is a fun promotion running at select Walmart super centers with the Walmart print shop. Take a photo to be printed and the Walmart print shop will then make your picture into a 5”x7” print with a Back to School border. Your actual picture will be 4”x6”. When you receive your picture after it is printed you should receive a coupon for $1 off Del Monte products in the photo envelope. This promotion runs August 1 – September 13, while supplies last. I'm super excited to start the back to school photo tradition! :)
I love to see all the fun sides of Max's personality. He can go from shy (especially when there are a lot of new people around) to very silly and showing off in a matter of minutes. He loves to re-enact whatever he watches or reads so he's constantly being one of the ninja turtles or a super hero.
What snacks and items do you send with your kids to school? Last Saturday we celebrated June's 2nd birthday and I shared Del Monte Squeezers with everyone at the party and all the kids enjoyed them ages 2-11!
As nervous as I am about how he will behave I really feel like he needs a structured school environment with other kids to learn and grow. I'm excited to see how he grows and changes this school year, what a cute boy. :)
