Cream the butter, sour cream & sugar together. Add the egg, mix together. Add the salt & vanilla and then the flour. On a well floured surface roll out the dough and cut out with your cookie cutters. I usually leave the dough around 1/4-1/2″ thick- so a pretty thick cookie. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
I bough the crown cookie cutter off Amazon- HERE, and i usually just make up my own icing recipe as i go.
