The 82nd Oscars
Last night we had a few friends over for an Oscar watch party and i made a few yummy treats. i made THIS coconut shrimp recipe, but instead of frying the shrimp i baked them at 425 for 10 minutes- i always mess up frying things so i just popped them in the oven. I also tried to make Gruyere cheese puffs, they tasted good but did not look like the picture in my williams-sonoma cookbook, so i will be trying them again. For our sweet treat i made a delightful Ricotta Cheesecake with orange and vanilla bean, it was delish! You can see this bon appetit recipe HERE. It was a fun evening of watching the glitz of Hollywood. How did you watch the Oscars?
and this post would not be complete without my favorites from the Red Carpet…
