These Jack-O-Lantern chicken pot pies are the perfect dinner before going out trick-or-treating on Halloween night! This post contains affiliate links.
Halloween is upon us friends, and I for one love it! I love celebrating with my kids. On Saturday we went to a trunk-or-treat and Halloween party and then tomorrow of course we will do our traditional trick-or-treating through the neighborhood! I made these fun jack-o-lantern chicken pot pies because I wanted to do something fun for dinner during this Halloween season!
You could easily adapt this to a full pie, the idea is the same. I used my Demarle at Home muffin tray (my favorite!) and then a larger Demarle round mold that I had. This muffin tray is so amazing because nothing sticks to it! It’s one of the favorite things I have in my kitchen.
I filled the well of each muffin with pie crust and then cut out a circle that would fit on top. I just used a butter knife and cut out the jack-o-lantern face before placing it over each individual pie. I used my fingers to squish together the bottom shell with the top shell on the outside of the circle.
